I wrote my first article for publication in the local newspaper when I was in Jr. High.  That was more than 20 years ago, but it seems like yesterday.  Likewise, I founded TVG 20 years ago, and that’s gone by like the blink of an eye.

Some things change, some things stay the same.

Many of the people who joined me at the beginning of the journey are still working at TVG—Amy Crump, Cathy Femmer, Emily Hasson, Don Hall, Patty Olsen, and Rich McEwen all have more than ten years with the firm.  Amy was our first employee and has nearly 20 years experience as our CFO.  Right behind them are Terry Marvin, JJ Goldman and Andy Likes.  All are committed to providing our clients the best work they can do, helping to differentiate our clients from their competition.  We strive to understand our clients’ business the way they do and help others understand it.  By doing so, we help them meet their goals and objectives.

We also want to recognize the help of our advisory board—a smarter and more dedicated group of people would be hard to find.  They have been very generous with their time and ideas over the years, to make TVG the best it can be by always challenging us to take our work to the next level.

And, our membership in professional networks—first Pinnacle Worldwide and now PROI Worldwide— extend our reach and provide us with the opportunity to service our clients anywhere in the world.

Some things never change.

The tools we use have changed dramatically, but the thinking and the strategy that goes into our work remains the same.

20 Years in 2013

I founded the firm on April 1, 1993. Yes, April Fool’s Day.  We’ll be celebrating our 20^th birthday later this year.  Hope you’ll join us! Stay tuned.
