Andy was a fixture in the newsroom at KSDK-TV in St. Louis, as well as in other markets. He has a unique understanding of the story preferences of local broadcast media and a producer’s insight into the best possible timing for pitches. He has more than 22 years of experience between both broadcast journalism and strategic communications. He leads TVG’s media practice area, which covers media relations, community engagement, crisis communications and corporate reputation, public engagement and training. He has served as lead facilitator for stakeholder listening sessions and has organized press conferences garnering local, regional, national and global attention.
He has a bachelor’s degree from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee, and is a graduate of the Poynter Institute, a school for journalists in St. Petersburg, FL.
